As the son of world-renowned minister, Apostle Price of Crenshaw Christian Center, Pastor Frederick Kenneth Price is cut from the cloth of a legend.   Now as the Head Pastor of the historic church, he completes a unique trinity of faith by serving side-by-side with his trail-blazing parents.

Pastor Price’s birth was viewed as a special blessing and a sign of God’s restorative love to the Price Family.  Nearly fifty years ago, the Price’s firstborn son, Frederick K.C. Price, III, was struck and killed in a fatal car accident when he was eight years old.  Although the Prices grieved his death for many years, they never stopped praying for God’s restoration.  Their prayers were answered when Dr. Betty Price birthed their second son on March 15th, 1979 at the age of 45.  Having three older sisters - who sometimes double as mothers due to the vast age difference - Pastor Price is the youngest of four children.

Pastor Price attended K-Anthony School until the 2nd grade.  When Drs. Price and Angela Evans (his eldest sister) founded Frederick K.C. Price III School on the grounds of Crenshaw Christian Center in 1984, he enrolled that same year, and remained there until he graduated from high school in the charter class of 1996.

At the age of 17, Pastor Price accepted the call on his life.  Many had hoped that he would go into ministry, but no one ever pressured him.  During a Dr. Creflo Dollar meeting which was held at CCC, the Lord spoke to Pastor Price’s heart. By the age 19, he knew he would become a pastor and teacher.

While growing up, Pastor Price performed with DFG (Down for God), a Christian rap duo that included his younger nephew, Alan Evans.  During high school, Pastor Price began a music career with a group called Seven Nine.  It consisted of six Christian rappers, who were friends, classmates, and his nephew.  This group ministered for years around the country and even produced two EP’s titled “79” and “The 79 Project”.  They continued to rap and produce songs until they transitioned into the work force and started families.

Pastor Price attended Long Beach State University, majoring in Business Administration; after a 2-year stint, he decided to enroll into Cottonwood Christian Center’s School of Ministry. He graduated from Cottonwood’s School of Ministry on June 18, 2002.

On June 16th, 2002 (Father’s Day), Pastor Price taught his first message to the congregation in the FaithDome.  Although a young minister of the gospel, he is becoming very much the trailblazer his father continues to be.  He was the first pastor to implement a Hip Hop service during the main church service.  The first event, titled BluePrint, drew nearly 10,000 people. BluePrint was formerly held every 5th Sunday to bridge the gap between today’s youth and mature believers.

The Price Family experienced their next special blessing when Pastor Price’s wife of six years, Angel Chavon Brown, gave birth on January 22nd, 2008 to Frederick K. Price, Jr., affectionately referred to as F5 by family members.  The next great defining moment in the spiritual arc of restoration was when Dr.  Price dedicated his grandson in the FaithDome.

Frederick has had the opportunity to minister around the world, interviewed by the media, and is very serious about his Father’s business! div>
